  • Emperor Ticket Holders

Hello and Welcome

Starting at 10, you can arrive and register at Funkhaus, meet the developers and Paradoxians, and get an introduction to the activities happening during the Emperor Day*.

*A strict NDA and no photo policy will apply all day.

Lunch

Friday lasagna is a thing at Paradox - and of course we will bring this tradition to Berlin!

Block 1: Exclusive Demo Sessions

We are incredibly excited to show you what we have been working on! For the first time ever in Paradox’s history, Emperor Ticket holders will get to take part in demo sessions of new, unreleased content. The game teams will be on-site to give you an exclusive briefing about their titles. You'll learn our biggest secrets before anyone else in the world!

Coffee Break

Just because we're in Berlin, doesn't mean we can't have a proper fika! Come and relax with our devs and staff and kick back after a busy day of seeing top secret stuff.

Block 2: Exclusive Demo Sessions & Funkhaus Venue Tour

After a break, we go in to the final block of demos, and then we'll wrap up with a guided tour of the Funkhaus venue.

Funkhaus was built in the 1950s as a broadcast center for East Germany. It is located in the factory district of former East Berlin and is one of the most exceptional recording complexes. The Funkhaus Recording Studio 1 is almost twice the size of Abbey Road’s Studio 1. At its peak the complex had over 3000 employees and all the services and facilities equivalent of a small town. When the wall fell, the Funkhaus was almost forgotten - had it not been for its magnificent sound structure. Since then, many of the world’s biggest musicians and production teams have worked in the incredible spaces at Funkhaus. The guides are ready to take you on a tour and reveal all the secrets that the Funkhaus complex has in store for you.

VIP Party

After a full day of demos, tours, workshops and presentations we will celebrate the first day of PDXCON 2019 by kicking off the VIP party with dinner, drinks, and entertainment.
